True Healing Takes Place Within

A lot of times when people think about healing, they think of it as something that happens to them. They think that if they go to therapy and do all the right things, eventually they'll be healed. And while it's true that there are a lot of external factors that can help with the healing process, ultimately it is something that has to happen from the inside out. True healing takes place within.

Why? Because at the end of the day, you are the only one who can control how you feel. You are the only one who can decide whether or not to let your past define your present and future. No therapist, no friend, no family member can make that decision for you. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide to do the work necessary to heal your wounds and move on with your life.

And it's not easy. It's going to take a lot of effort and a lot of time. But it will be worth it, I promise. Because once you've done the work to heal yourself, you'll be free. You'll be free from the pain and hurt of your past. You'll be free to live your life the way you want to live it. And you'll be free to be the person you were always meant to be.

So if you're currently on the journey of healing, just know that it's possible. It might not feel like it right now, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Trust me when I say that true healing does take place within—and that's a good thing. Because ultimately, only you have the power to heal yourself...and that means you also have the power to create an incredible life for yourself.

Just keep going—you got this!
